CFEK's Video Conferencing (VC) system can improve your ability to communicate and exploit opportunities across BC, Canada, and around the world.  VC technology allows participants in a meeting to simultaneously see, hear, and speak with one another at a distance. This means that  the normal time and expenses associated with travel and accommodation can be largely eliminated.  The applications of VC are unlimited and include:

  • Meetings & Announcements (e.g. product launches)

  • Business Consulting

  • Human Resource Interviews

  • Employee Training & Distance Education

  • Training for Business Owners & Entrepreneurs

  • Sales & Marketing Presentations

  • Product Design Collaborations (e.g. "white boarding")

  • Press Conferences

All told, VC's an incredibly flexible communication tool that can bridge distances, lower costs, improve productivity, and reduce the environmental impacts of travel.

Overview

  • Community Futures East Kootenay's (CFEK) VC equipment is state-of-the-art.  Laptop computers can also be connected to the VC unit to deliver Power Point and other software presentations, including video streaming.

  • Businesses, non-profit groups, and public organizations can rent our VC facilities. CFEK's meeting room can seat up to twenty (20) people.

  • The hourly rental rate is $100 (minimum charge); the maximum daily rate (eight hours) is $500. These rates apply to normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30-4:30).

  • Depending on CFEK's commitments and resources, evening or weekend VC rentals may be possible.  Please contact CFEK for more information.

  • VC is user-friendly and simple to use.  As part of the service, CFEK  will set-up the conference, provide basic instructions, and supply technical support (e.g. trouble-shooting).

  • A small kitchen area  is also available (e.g. coffee, fridge for lunch, etc.).

  • For more information and VC bookings, please contact info@cfek.ca (or phone 250-489-4356 or 1-800-661-2293).
